# FNJ > Convert your published Framer site into a fast, deployable Next.js project or an optimized static bundle, then keep working on it. Copies the site's images into the export as WebP and runs a full SEO pass either way. The Next.js Converter splits each page into named, editable React components that still render the original DOM exactly; Improve Performance (HTML) returns static HTML files that keep Framer's runtime, with lighter images and trackers removed. After conversion, edit the exported code or use its CMS and MCP server for Claude, Cursor or Codex. Full single-file reference for answer engines: https://framertonextjs.com/llms-full.txt FNJ (https://framertonextjs.com) is a web tool that converts a published Framer site into a production-ready website, in one of two modes. The Next.js Converter returns a genuine, deployable App Router project in which each page is split into named React component files — taken from the section names used in Framer — that a prerender step renders back to the original DOM exactly; Framer's runtime is kept intact, so animations and interactions behave as authored (measured element parity with the source: 100%). Improve Performance (HTML) instead returns the pages as an optimized static HTML bundle that also keeps Framer's runtime, with images re-encoded to WebP and trackers removed; performance is not the goal of the Next.js mode, ownership and fidelity are (independently measured across 10 real templates: see the blog post linked below). Both modes copy the site's images into the export as WebP and run a full SEO pass; Framer's runtime, code components and fonts still load from Framer's CDN, so the Framer project should stay published. It can deploy the result to your own Vercel or Cloudflare Pages account. You can edit the exported code, and FNJ is an MCP server, so Claude, Cursor or Codex can edit and publish it directly, and it has its own CMS whose collection items publish as real pages. Through November 1, 2026, FNJ's flash sale includes every shipped feature, unlimited Framer site conversions and lifetime access for $29 once. There is no subscription or renewal. ## Key pages - [Home / converter](https://framertonextjs.com/): Convert a Framer site to a Next.js project of editable React components, or to an optimized static HTML bundle. - [Framer to HTML Converter](https://framertonextjs.com/framer-to-html): Framer to HTML converter — paste a published Framer URL, get a clean static HTML ZIP (WebP images, trackers removed, SEO pass; Framer's runtime still loads from Framer). Primary tool for "export Framer to HTML". - [Website builder to HTML converters](https://framertonextjs.com/html-converters): Capture public pages from Webflow, Gamma, systeme.io, Carrd, Duda, Elementor, Squarespace, Strikingly, Tilda, Weebly, or Wix as editable static HTML. Forms, commerce, login, data and other builder-hosted features require separate services; preview each export before publishing. - [Website builder detector](https://framertonextjs.com/website-builder-detector): Paste any public website address to see which website builder, CMS, store platform, framework and host it uses (38 platforms, Framer, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, WordPress and Shopify among them), with the evidence for each answer: generator tag, response headers, the CDNs its files load from and platform-specific markup, never the page's words. Free to use, no account; the address isn't stored. - [Webflow to HTML](https://framertonextjs.com/webflow-to-html): Convert a published Webflow site to editable HTML, CSS and assets. Preview the static export and plan replacements for Webflow CMS, forms and checkout. - [Webflow HTML export guide](https://framertonextjs.com/guides/webflow-to-html-export-guide): Public-page capture, platform dependencies and migration checks. - [Gamma to HTML](https://framertonextjs.com/gamma-to-html): Capture public Gamma site pages as editable HTML and accessible assets. Preview the export; Gamma-powered interactions may still need Gamma scripts. - [Gamma HTML export guide](https://framertonextjs.com/guides/gamma-to-html-export-guide): Public-page capture, platform dependencies and migration checks. - [systeme.io to HTML](https://framertonextjs.com/systeme-io-to-html): Turn public systeme.io website or funnel pages into editable HTML. Forms, checkout, memberships and email automations need separate integrations. - [systeme.io HTML export guide](https://framertonextjs.com/guides/systeme-io-to-html-export-guide): Public-page capture, platform dependencies and migration checks. - [Carrd to HTML](https://framertonextjs.com/carrd-to-html): Capture a public Carrd page as editable HTML, CSS and accessible assets. Check embeds and forms before hosting the result elsewhere. - [Carrd HTML export guide](https://framertonextjs.com/guides/carrd-to-html-export-guide): Public-page capture, platform dependencies and migration checks. - [Duda to HTML](https://framertonextjs.com/duda-to-html): Export accessible Duda pages as editable static HTML. Some Duda sites block automated capture; stores, bookings and forms need a backend. - [Duda HTML export guide](https://framertonextjs.com/guides/duda-to-html-export-guide): Public-page capture, platform dependencies and migration checks. - [Elementor to HTML](https://framertonextjs.com/elementor-to-html): Capture public Elementor-built WordPress pages as editable HTML and assets. WordPress, plugins, forms and WooCommerce remain separate. - [Elementor HTML export guide](https://framertonextjs.com/guides/elementor-to-html-export-guide): Public-page capture, platform dependencies and migration checks. - [Squarespace to HTML](https://framertonextjs.com/squarespace-to-html): Convert published Squarespace pages to editable static HTML and accessible assets. Commerce, scheduling and member features need replacements. - [Squarespace HTML export guide](https://framertonextjs.com/guides/squarespace-to-html-export-guide): Public-page capture, platform dependencies and migration checks. - [Strikingly to HTML](https://framertonextjs.com/strikingly-to-html): Capture published Strikingly pages as editable HTML, CSS and accessible assets. Store, membership and form widgets may need replacement. - [Strikingly HTML export guide](https://framertonextjs.com/guides/strikingly-to-html-export-guide): Public-page capture, platform dependencies and migration checks. - [Tilda to HTML](https://framertonextjs.com/tilda-to-html): Capture public Tilda pages as editable static HTML and assets. Preview animations; forms, store and CRM functions need integrations. - [Tilda HTML export guide](https://framertonextjs.com/guides/tilda-to-html-export-guide): Public-page capture, platform dependencies and migration checks. - [Weebly to HTML](https://framertonextjs.com/weebly-to-html): Save public Weebly pages as editable HTML and assets. Static page links can be preserved; Square commerce and forms need a backend. - [Weebly HTML export guide](https://framertonextjs.com/guides/weebly-to-html-export-guide): Public-page capture, platform dependencies and migration checks. - [Wix to HTML](https://framertonextjs.com/wix-to-html): Inspect an HTML capture of a public Wix site. Wix relies on platform scripts, so visual elements, CMS, stores and bookings may not transfer. - [Wix HTML export guide](https://framertonextjs.com/guides/wix-to-html-export-guide): Public-page capture, platform dependencies and migration checks. - [Framer to Code](https://framertonextjs.com/framer-to-code): Every route from a Framer site to real code, compared — Framer's own export (there is none), DevTools, HTML converters, React/Next.js conversion, and rebuilding by hand. States plainly which routes are free and that FNJ is not one of them. - [Framer to React](https://framertonextjs.com/framer-to-react): What a converted Framer site looks like as React — one named component file per Framer section under src/sections, a view per page under src/views, an App Router route each, shared sections emitted once, and each section's text hoisted into a named "copy" export. - [How to export a Framer site](https://framertonextjs.com/export-framer-site): Guide to exporting Framer when official export does not exist (HTML or Next.js). - [Next.js Converter](https://framertonextjs.com/nextjs): Export a Framer site as a real, deployable Next.js App Router project of named, editable React components that keeps Framer's runtime for exact fidelity — not a performance-first mode. - [Framer alternatives compared](https://framertonextjs.com/framer-alternative): Eight Framer alternatives rated on code export, self-hosting, open-source licensing, CMS depth, and price — Webflow, Webstudio, WordPress, Plasmic, Ycode, Wix Studio, Squarespace, and converting the existing site. - [Is Framer open source?](https://framertonextjs.com/framer-open-source): No — Framer is proprietary, closed-source software with no public repository, no self-hosting, and no code export. Covers the genuinely open-source alternatives (Webstudio AGPL-3.0, Plasmic MIT core, WordPress GPLv2, Ycode self-hosted) and the distinction between open-source software and owning your output. Note: this tool is itself closed source; only its output is yours. - [Framer review](https://framertonextjs.com/framer-review): An honest Framer review — excellent for design-led marketing sites, portfolios and landing pages; limited by CMS collection caps (2 on Basic), metered bandwidth, $20/month per extra editor and no code export; a poor fit for e-commerce, large content operations or app logic. Written by a tool that converts Framer sites, not by a Framer agency. - [Cheap website hosting](https://framertonextjs.com/cheap-website-hosting): The cheapest hosting for a static or Framer site in 2026. Cloudflare Pages is free with no published bandwidth cap and no published commercial-use restriction. Vercel's free Hobby plan is personal and non-commercial only (a business needs Vercel Pro, $20/seat, 1 TB). GitHub Pages is not allowed to host an online business or e-commerce site. Netlify's free plan is credit-based, about 15 GB a month. - [Framer limitations](https://framertonextjs.com/framer-limitations): Every cap Framer applies per plan, verified from framer.com/pricing on 2026-09-08 — CMS collections (10 Free, 2 Basic, 10 Pro, 40 with add-ons), CMS items (1,000 / 1,000 / 2,500, 40,000 with add-ons), bandwidth (1 GB / 50 GB / 100 GB, 2 TB with add-ons), pages (30 / 30 / 150, 700 with add-ons), $20/month per extra editor, and no code export at any price. Note the anomaly: Basic includes FEWER CMS collections than the free plan. - [Framer vs owning your code](https://framertonextjs.com/vs/framer): Staying on Framer hosting versus converting to code — pricing, bandwidth caps, editor seats, lock-in, and what happens to the site if the subscription lapses. - [MCP server](https://framertonextjs.com/mcp): FNJ is a Model Context Protocol server — point Claude, Claude Code, Cursor or Codex at a converted Framer site to edit pages, run the CMS and publish, by pasting one URL. MCP never runs a model on FNJ's side or charges for AI tokens; the agent thinks on the AI subscription you already pay for, so MCP is included with FNJ Lifetime and every AI builder plan. - [AI website builder](https://framertonextjs.com/ai-website-builder): Describe a business and FNJ's AI builder plans the site and designs every page on a live canvas at desktop, tablet and phone widths; refine by prompt or by hand, then download the Next.js project or static HTML or push it to GitHub. Sold separately from the converter and from FNJ Lifetime: Site Pack $29 once (50 credits), Builder $25/month (60 credits a month), Agency $99/month (250 credits a month); one prompt is 1 credit and each page it builds 1 more, the first page included. - [AI website builder: with code export](https://framertonextjs.com/ai-website-builder/code-export): An AI website builder that gives you the code: design every page from a reference, then download a Next.js project or static HTML, or push it to your GitHub. - [AI website builder: for next.js](https://framertonextjs.com/ai-website-builder/nextjs): Design a complete website with AI on a visual canvas and export it as a clean Next.js App Router project. Responsive at three widths, no FNJ runtime. - [AI website builder: from a screenshot](https://framertonextjs.com/ai-website-builder/image-to-website): Upload or paste a screenshot of a site you love and FNJ's AI website builder designs yours in that style, at desktop, tablet and phone, with code you own. - [AI website builder: from a url](https://framertonextjs.com/ai-website-builder/from-url): Paste the link of a website you like and FNJ's AI website builder designs yours in its style: fonts, colours, spacing and layout, with your own copy and code. - [AI website builder: landing pages](https://framertonextjs.com/ai-website-builder/landing-page-builder): Describe your offer, add a page you like, and FNJ's AI landing page builder designs a conversion-focused page for desktop, tablet and phone, then exports the code. - [AI website builder: for agencies](https://framertonextjs.com/ai-website-builder/agencies): Design client websites with AI in minutes, refine them on a visual canvas, and hand over clean Next.js or HTML. Up to 250 credits a month on the Agency plan. - [AI website builder: for designers](https://framertonextjs.com/ai-website-builder/designers): An AI website builder that designs from your references, not templates: type, grid, palette and spacing at three breakpoints, refined by hand on a visual canvas. - [AI website builder: for small business](https://framertonextjs.com/ai-website-builder/small-business): Get a professional small business website designed by AI from a site you like: services, about, pricing and contact pages, mobile-ready, with code you own. - [AI website builder: restaurants & cafés](https://framertonextjs.com/ai-website-builder/restaurants): Get a restaurant or café website designed by AI: menu, opening hours, location and table bookings link, designed for phones first, with code you own. - [AI website builder: saas & startups](https://framertonextjs.com/ai-website-builder/saas): Design a SaaS or startup website with AI from a site you admire: hero, features, pricing, FAQ and changelog pages, exported as Next.js or HTML you own. - [AI website builder: html websites](https://framertonextjs.com/ai-website-builder/html): Make an HTML website without writing code: FNJ's AI designs every page from a site you like, then exports plain HTML and CSS you can host on any static host. - [AI website builder: low-code](https://framertonextjs.com/ai-website-builder/low-code): Design the whole site without code, then keep going in code: FNJ's AI builder exports a clean Next.js project or HTML that you or a developer can extend. - [Portfolio website builder by profession](https://framertonextjs.com/portfolio-builder): A page per profession (50 of them) with the sections that profession's site needs, a sample design and a starter prompt that opens the AI builder. - The Next.js Converter gives you a real App Router project whose pages are split into named React component files — Hero.tsx, Pricing.tsx, Footer.tsx, taken from the section names you used in Framer. Improve Performance (HTML) instead returns an optimized static HTML bundle; Framer's runtime still loads from Framer's servers. Both self-host and re-encode images to WebP and run an SEO pass. - **How do I convert a Framer site to Next.js?** Paste your published Framer URL (for example https://your-site.framer.website) into the converter and click Convert. The tool crawls every page, optimizes it, and gives you a downloadable project plus a one-click deploy to your own Vercel or Cloudflare Pages account. No code is required to start. - **Will converting my Framer site improve SEO and Lighthouse scores?** Not automatically. Both modes keep Framer's runtime so the site behaves as designed, which means most of the original JavaScript still loads. Improve Performance (HTML) makes pages lighter by re-encoding images to WebP and removing trackers. The Next.js Converter isn't faster: across 10 Framer templates we tested in July 2026, average mobile Performance went from 82.1 to 69.8, while Accessibility improved on all 10. Both keep your titles, descriptions and URLs. Compare your own site before and after in PageSpeed Insights. - **Does the conversion keep my animations and interactivity?** It depends on the mode. The Next.js Converter keeps Framer's runtime intact, so every animation and interaction renders exactly like the original — measured element parity with the source is 100%. Improve Performance (HTML) keeps the runtime too, so animations play as designed; the difference is that you get static HTML files instead of a React project. - **What is the difference between the Next.js Converter and the HTML output?** The Next.js Converter returns a real, deployable App Router project: each page is split into named React component files you can read and edit, and a prerender step renders them back to the original DOM exactly. Improve Performance (HTML) returns an optimized static HTML bundle instead: plain files with lighter images and trackers removed, still running Framer's runtime from Framer's servers. Choose the Next.js Converter for editable React code, HTML for plain files you can put on any static host. - **Can I deploy the converted site to Vercel, Cloudflare or Netlify?** Yes. FNJ deploys to your own Vercel or Cloudflare account using your saved access token. Your host provides SSL, custom domains and bandwidth. FNJ Lifetime also lets you download the project as a .zip and host it on Netlify or anywhere else. - **Can I edit the converted site after converting?** Yes. Download or push the generated code to GitHub and edit it with your own development tools. You can also connect an MCP-compatible AI agent to FNJ to update supported content and publish changes. - **Does it work with multi-page Framer sites?** Yes. The converter discovers and converts every page of a published Framer site, including nested routes like /work/project, and preserves the original URL structure. - **How much does it cost, and do I need to know how to code?** No coding is required. FNJ Lifetime Unlimited is one payment of $29 for unlimited Framer site conversions and every shipped feature, through November 1, 2026. There is no subscription or renewal, and hosting stays in your own Vercel or Cloudflare account. - **Is the 'Made in Framer' badge removed?** Yes. The optimizer removes the 'Made in Framer' badge from every page automatically during conversion, so your exported site doesn't show it. - **Do I need my Framer login or an API key?** No. The converter works from your site's public published URL only — no Framer account access, login, or API key is ever requested. If a page is public, it can be converted. - **Will my Google rankings drop after migrating off Framer?** They shouldn't, if the move is done carefully, though no tool can promise rankings. The converter preserves your titles, descriptions and URL structure and points canonicals at your new domain. Keep the same paths (the converter does this automatically) and add 301 redirects only if you change domains. - **How long does a conversion take, and what if a page fails?** Most sites convert in under a minute; large multi-page sites can take a few minutes. If a page fails to fetch, the rest of the site still converts, and you can re-run the conversion at any time. - **Can I use AI — Claude, Cursor or Codex — to edit my converted site?** Yes. FNJ is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, so any agent that speaks MCP can work on your converted site directly. You connect it by pasting one URL, and the agent is offered tools to read the site, edit text, set styles, add sections, create pages, run the CMS, and publish. Nothing goes live until publish is called. MCP never runs a model on FNJ's side and never charges for AI tokens — your agent thinks on the AI subscription you already pay for, which is why MCP is included with FNJ Lifetime rather than sold as an add-on. - **Does FNJ have a CMS?** Yes, its own. You create collections on the converted site and their items publish as real pages through MCP, with unlimited collections in FNJ Lifetime. Note the distinction: this is FNJ's CMS, not an import of Framer's collection data — components bound to a Framer collection come across without that dynamic data. - **Will I know if my converted site gets slower?** FNJ does not monitor your site automatically. You can check any page yourself, whenever you like, with Google's free PageSpeed Insights (pagespeed.web.dev) — run it on the original Framer site and the converted one to compare desktop and mobile. Performance tends to decay quietly after launch — a large image added later, a new third-party script — so it is worth re-running after any change like that. - **Is Framer open source?** No. Framer is proprietary, closed-source commercial software — there is no public repository for the product, no license to modify or redistribute it, and no way to self-host the editor or the sites it publishes. The confusion usually comes from Motion (formerly Framer Motion), an MIT-licensed React animation library, and from the older Framer Library prototyping framework — neither is the website builder. Genuinely open-source alternatives include Webstudio, WordPress, and Plasmic. - **Is this a Framer alternative?** Two ways. If you already built in Framer, the converter is the alternative to Framer HOSTING: it takes the site you published and gives you the code, so you can leave Framer's infrastructure without rebuilding anything. If you are starting a new site, FNJ's AI website builder designs it on its own visual canvas and exports a Next.js project or static HTML. If you want a different hosted builder, Webflow is the closest like-for-like and Webstudio is the open-source option.
