Creator policy
The terms for listing templates on the FNJ marketplace. There are two deals and nothing else: free templates earn you commission on the customers they bring FNJ, and paid templates pay FNJ a small fee on each sale.

Free templates: you earn commission
- Who counts as your customer
- Anyone who remixes one of your free templates while signed in to FNJ, if they have never paid FNJ before and aren't already credited to someone else. The first template, partner link or site handoff that brings someone in keeps them — a later one can't take them over. Your own accounts never count.
- What you earn
- 50% of every subscription payment they make to FNJ, for 12 months from their first one. It's worked out on what they actually paid, so a discount reduces it in proportion. It's the partner programme's deal exactly, on the same ledger.
- When you're paid
- Each commission is held for 30 days — the length of FNJ's refund window — and then paid out once you're owed at least $50.00. If a customer is refunded or charges back, the commission on that payment is reversed; if it was already paid out, it comes off your next payout.
Paid templates: FNJ's 2% fee
- Your price, your checkout
- You set the price and sell through your own checkout — Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy, Stripe or anything else. FNJ never takes the buyer's money, so payments, refunds and tax on your sales are between you and your buyer.
- What counts as a sale
- FNJ can't see your checkout, so it counts what every buyer does next: remix your template through the remix link you sent them. Each account that remixes a listed paid template is one sale, at the price listed at that moment. A buyer who remixes the same template again isn't a second sale, and your own remixes don't count.
- The bill
- On the 1st of each month FNJ bills you 2% of the previous month's sales, due 14 days later and paid by card through FNJ's checkout. A month that comes to less than $5.00 isn't billed — it rolls into the next month's total. You can see every sale, bill and payment in your marketplace dashboard.
- Giving copies away
- Every remix by another account through a paid template's link counts as a sale, because FNJ can't tell a gift from a purchase. To give a template away, list it as free instead. If a link leaks, replace it from your dashboard — the old one stops working immediately.
If a bill isn't paid
- A reminder first
- You get the bill by email on the 1st, and a reminder 3 days before it's due.
- Then your templates are hidden
- If a bill is still unpaid after its due date, all of your templates are hidden from the marketplace, and new submissions and edits are paused. Nothing is deleted — your listings, their pages and their remix counts are kept exactly as they were. Buyers you've already sent a remix link to can still use it, and those sales still count.
- And back as soon as it's paid
- Pay the bill from your dashboard and everything comes back automatically, straight away. If a payment is later refunded or disputed, the bill is open again.
Everything else
- Review
- FNJ reviews every template before it goes live, and can decline or remove one — for instance if it copies someone else's work, misdescribes what it is, or its remix link stops working.
- Changes to this policy
- If these terms change, you'll be asked to agree to the new version before your next submission or edit.
