Webflow vs FNJ
Webflow vs FNJ: which AI builder fits your site?
Pick Webflow when you want a hosted site with a CMS, a store or several languages, and a designer with fine visual control: its AI turns a prompt into a site draft and a starter design system that you finish in the Designer. Pick FNJ when you want the AI to design the whole multi-page site from a reference and you want to own and host the code: it exports a Next.js project or static HTML. Webflow also exports HTML, CSS and JavaScript, but only on paid Workspace plans, and its CMS, store, forms and search don't work in the export.
FNJ makes one of the builders compared here, so weigh our view with that in mind. Facts about other products come from each vendor's own website, checked in October 2026; plans change, so confirm on the vendor's site before you buy.
Choose Webflow if
- You need a CMS, a store, memberships or several languages, hosted for you.
- You want to keep refining a design system by hand in the Webflow Designer.
- You're happy for the site to live on Webflow's hosting, where every feature works.
Choose FNJ if
- You want the AI to design every page from a site you like, not just a first draft.
- You want to own the code and host it yourself, including as a Next.js project.
- Your site is marketing pages without a CMS or store.
- You'd rather pay once ($29) than a site plan plus a Workspace plan for export.

| Webflow | FNJ | |
|---|---|---|
| What it makes | Websites with CMS, ecommerce and localization; Webflow Cloud also hosts web apps. | Responsive marketing websites: business sites, portfolios, landing pages and product marketing sites. |
| How you build | Turns a prompt into a site draft plus a starter design system built on Webflow's Flowkit CSS framework; you then add, remove or reorder sections and pages and restyle it in the Designer. | Designs every page from your description plus a screenshot, a link or your brand files, on a visual canvas at desktop, tablet and phone widths. Refine it by asking in plain words or by editing any element on the canvas. |
| The code you get | Partial code export. Paid Workspace plans (from Core) export HTML, CSS, JavaScript and assets as a ZIP. CMS content, ecommerce, user accounts, password protection, form processing, site search, localized pages and code components do not work in the export; CMS, ecommerce and user data can be exported separately as CSV. Exported code cannot be re-imported. | A Next.js 16 App Router project in TypeScript (one route per page with its metadata, a CSS Module per section, Google Fonts through next/font, sitemap and robots routes), or static HTML with one stylesheet. Download it or push it to a branch of your GitHub repository. No FNJ runtime. |
| Hosting | Exported static pages can be hosted anywhere without attribution; CMS, ecommerce, memberships, forms and search need Webflow hosting. | FNJ doesn't host sites. Put the HTML on any static host, such as Cloudflare Pages or Netlify, or the Next.js project on Vercel, Netlify or a Node server, with no FNJ runtime in the code. |
| Store, forms, log-ins | Store: Built in. | None. Link a store, booking or form tool from a button. |
| Free option | Starter site plan is free: webflow.io subdomain, 2 static pages, limited CMS, 1 GB bandwidth, 50 form submissions; removing the 'Made in Webflow' badge needs a paid site plan. The free Starter Workspace includes 200 AI credits. | No free plan, but your first build costs nothing: one prompt builds version 1 of your site, up to 4 pages. Editing it after that, and downloading the code, needs a plan. The Site Pack is $29 once for 50 credits, about three complete sites of up to 10 pages, and every site you build is yours to keep. |
| Paid plans from | $15/month, billed yearly (Basic site plan) | $29 once, or $25/month |
| AI agents (MCP) | The Webflow MCP server lets agents build in the Designer, manage CMS, pages and assets, and publish sites, within the user's existing roles. | An MCP server with 19 tools for Cursor, Codex and other MCP clients; you choose read-only or read-and-write when you connect, and nothing goes live until publish is called. |
Where FNJ falls short of Webflow
- No CMS, store, forms, memberships or site search; Webflow has all of them on its hosting.
- In our view, Webflow's Designer gives finer manual control. FNJ's canvas edits text, spacing, colours, layout and images in what the AI built.
- No free publishing: Webflow's free Starter plan puts a site on webflow.io; FNJ doesn't host sites.

Questions
- Can I move a Webflow site to FNJ?
- Not as an import. Give FNJ's builder your Webflow site's link or screenshots as references and it designs a new site in that style, which you then export. CMS content has to be added to the new site's pages by hand.
- Can I export the code from Webflow?
- Partial code export.
- Can I export the code from FNJ?
- Yes. Your first build costs nothing to make and look at (one prompt, up to 4 pages); downloading or pushing the code needs a plan.
- Which is cheaper, Webflow or FNJ?
- Webflow: $15/month, billed yearly (Basic site plan), and it has a free plan. FNJ isn't free, but your first build costs nothing; after that the Site Pack is $29 once for 50 credits, or the Builder plan is $25 a month. Plans change, so check Webflow's pricing page before you decide.
