Where to host a Framer site
Framer only hosts on Framer. Convert the published site to code and it can live on any of these, most of them free. The deciding questions are the same everywhere: can a business use the free plan, what happens when traffic grows, and how the files get there.
Convert your Framer site
Paste the published address and preview the converted site. Deploy it to Vercel or Cloudflare Pages from FNJ, or download it for any other host.
Example: https://your-site.framer.website
Every host, side by side
| Host | Free plan for a business? | From FNJ |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel | No | One click from FNJ |
| Cloudflare Pages | Yes | One click from FNJ |
| Netlify | Not stated | Drag and drop, or netlify deploy |
| GitHub Pages | No | Commit the files to a repository |
| Firebase Hosting | Not stated | firebase deploy |
| Render | Not stated | Static site from a Git repository |
| AWS Amplify | Not stated | Drag and drop a .zip |
| Hostinger | No free plan | Upload in File Manager or FTP |
"Not stated" means the host's documentation sets no commercial-use rule for its free plan. Each host's page has its limits, prices and sources, read on 30 October 2026.
The short version
- Free, with no business restriction stated: Cloudflare Pages. Static requests are free and unlimited, and FNJ deploys there in one click.
- Already on Vercel: Vercel, on Pro for anything commercial.
- A personal site or portfolio: GitHub Pages or Vercel Hobby.
- Already paying for web hosting: upload the HTML next to your other sites.
- One thing doesn't move: both of FNJ's exports keep Framer's runtime, loaded from Framer's servers, so animations and interactions still come from Framer. Keep the Framer project published. If those files stopped loading, the pages and text would stay but the motion would stop.
FAQ
Where can I host a Framer site other than Framer?
Anywhere that serves static files, once the site is converted to code. Framer has no export, so FNJ converts the published site into HTML or a Next.js project; from there Cloudflare Pages, Vercel, Netlify, GitHub Pages, Firebase Hosting, Render, AWS Amplify or ordinary web hosting such as Hostinger can serve it.
What is the best free host for a Framer site?
Cloudflare Pages for most sites: requests to static assets are free and unlimited, it states no commercial-use restriction, and FNJ deploys to it in one click. Vercel's free Hobby plan and GitHub Pages are free too, but neither allows a business site on the free plan.
Can I host a business Framer site for free?
Yes, on a host whose free plan allows it. Vercel Hobby is personal and non-commercial only, and GitHub Pages isn't allowed as a free host for an online business. Cloudflare Pages, Netlify, Firebase, Render and AWS Amplify state no such restriction, though Netlify, Firebase and Render cap or pause free traffic.
Do I still need Framer after moving the hosting?
Keep the Framer project published. Both of FNJ's exports load Framer's runtime from Framer's servers for animations and interactions; the new host serves your pages, and Framer still serves that code.
