Host a Framer site on Netlify
To host a Framer site on Netlify, convert the published site to HTML with FNJ, then drag the folder onto Netlify Drop or run netlify deploy. Netlify's free plan is 300 credits a month with a hard limit: bandwidth costs 20 credits a GB, so traffic alone would use them up at about 15 GB, and when they run out Netlify pauses the site.
Convert your Framer site
Paste the published address. FNJ converts it from its public pages, so you don't share the Framer project, and you can preview the result before downloading it.
Example: https://your-site.framer.website
How to put it on Netlify
- 1Convert and download
Paste your Framer site's address into FNJ, choose HTML, and download the site. Unzip it into a folder.
- 2Drop it on Netlify
Drag the folder onto app.netlify.com/drop, or onto your project's Deploys page. From a terminal, netlify deploy --prod --dir <folder> does the same.
- 3Add your domain
Add the domain in the project's domain settings and update DNS. Netlify issues HTTPS.
The long version: Deploying an exported Framer site to Netlify.
What Netlify gives you
| Free plan | Free. 300 credits a month, hard limit, no rollover. Bandwidth is 20 credits per GB; a production deploy is 15 credits. When the credits run out, every project is paused and visitors see a Site not available page. |
|---|---|
| Business use on the free plan | Not stated on Netlify's pricing page, credit documentation or terms of use. |
| Cheapest paid plan | Personal is $9 a month for 1,000 credits, with optional auto-recharge. |
| From FNJ | Download the HTML, then: drag and drop, or netlify deploy. |

Before you move
- Deploys cost credits too (15 per production deploy), so frequent republishing eats into the same 300.
- Netlify's credit plans started on 4 September 2025; older accounts may still be on legacy limits.
- One thing doesn't move: both of FNJ's exports keep Framer's runtime, loaded from Framer's servers, so animations and interactions still come from Framer. Keep the Framer project published. If those files stopped loading, the pages and text would stay but the motion would stop.
FAQ
Can I host a Framer site on Netlify for free?
Yes, within Netlify's free 300 credits a month. Bandwidth costs 20 credits a GB and each production deploy 15, so a low-traffic site fits; a busy one doesn't, and the site is paused when the credits run out.
Does FNJ deploy to Netlify directly?
Not for new connections. Download the HTML from FNJ and drag the folder onto Netlify; it takes about a minute. FNJ deploys directly to Vercel and Cloudflare Pages.
Can Netlify run the Next.js export?
Yes. Netlify runs full Next.js through the OpenNext adapter, with server rendering as Netlify Functions. Download FNJ's Next.js project and deploy it from Git.
Other places to host it
- Vercel: one click from fnj; not for a business on the free plan.
- Cloudflare Pages: one click from fnj.
- GitHub Pages: commit the files to a repository; not for a business on the free plan.
- Firebase Hosting: firebase deploy.
- Render: static site from a git repository.
- AWS Amplify: drag and drop a .zip.
- Hostinger: upload in file manager or ftp; paid plans only.
