Host a Framer site on Vercel

You can host a Framer site on Vercel by converting the published site with FNJ and deploying it to your own Vercel account in one click. Vercel's free Hobby plan is for personal, non-commercial use only, so a business, client or monetised site needs Vercel Pro at $20 a month per seat.

Convert your Framer site

Paste the published address. FNJ converts it from its public pages, so you don't share the Framer project, and you can preview the result before deploying it to Vercel.

Example: https://your-site.framer.website

How to put it on Vercel

  1. 1Convert the published site

Paste your Framer site's address into FNJ and choose HTML. Preview the result before anything is deployed.

  2. 2Connect Vercel and deploy

Add a Vercel access token once, then deploy from FNJ. It creates the project in your own Vercel account and uploads the static files, so no build runs on Vercel.

  3. 3Point your domain

Add the domain in the Vercel project's settings and set the DNS records Vercel shows. HTTPS is issued for you.

What Vercel gives you

Free planHobby. 100 GB of Fast Data Transfer and 1,000,000 edge requests a month. 100 deployments a day, 50 domains per project. Over a limit, a feature can stay off until 30 days have passed; Hobby can't buy extra usage.
Business use on the free planNot allowed. Vercel: Hobby teams are restricted to non-commercial personal use, and commercial use includes ads, payments, advertising a product or service, and being paid to build or host the site.
Cheapest paid planPro is $20 a month per seat, with a monthly usage credit and on-demand charges after it.

Before you move

  • The non-commercial rule is the one that bites: a client's site on Hobby breaks Vercel's terms even at low traffic.
  • Prefer a Next.js codebase? Download FNJ's Next.js project instead and deploy it with the vercel CLI or from a Git repository.
  • One thing doesn't move: both of FNJ's exports keep Framer's runtime, loaded from Framer's servers, so animations and interactions still come from Framer. Keep the Framer project published. If those files stopped loading, the pages and text would stay but the motion would stop.

FAQ

Can I host a Framer site on Vercel for free?

For a personal site, yes: Vercel's Hobby plan is free and includes 100 GB of transfer a month. For anything commercial, no. Vercel restricts Hobby to non-commercial personal use, so a business or client site needs Pro at $20 a month per seat.

Does FNJ deploy to Vercel for me?

Yes. Connect your Vercel account with an access token and FNJ deploys the converted site into it in one click. The project, the domain and the bill are yours; FNJ serves nothing itself.

Should I deploy HTML or Next.js to Vercel?

HTML if you just want the site online: it's static files, so Vercel only serves them. Next.js if you plan to keep developing the site as a React codebase; download FNJ's Next.js project and deploy it from Git or with the vercel CLI.

Can I cancel Framer after moving to Vercel?

You can stop paying for Framer's hosting of the site, but keep the Framer project published: the converted pages still load Framer's runtime from Framer's servers for animations and interactions.
