Host a Framer site on Firebase Hosting
To host a Framer site on Firebase, convert the published site to HTML with FNJ, then run firebase init hosting and firebase deploy --only hosting. The free Spark plan includes 10 GB of storage, a custom domain and SSL; over its data-transfer limit, Firebase disables the site until the next month unless you move to the pay-as-you-go Blaze plan.
Convert your Framer site
Paste the published address. FNJ converts it from its public pages, so you don't share the Framer project, and you can preview the result before downloading it.
Example: https://your-site.framer.website
How to put it on Firebase Hosting
- 1Convert and download
Paste your Framer site's address into FNJ, choose HTML, and download and unzip the site.
- 2Set up Firebase Hosting
With the Firebase CLI installed, run firebase init hosting in a new folder and give it the unzipped site as the public directory.
- 3Deploy
Run firebase deploy --only hosting, then add your domain in the Firebase console's Hosting section. SSL is included.
What Firebase Hosting gives you
| Free plan | Spark (no-cost). 10 GB of storage. Data transfer: Firebase's pricing page says 360 MB a day; its Hosting quotas page says 10 GB a month. Over the transfer limit, after a short grace period, the sites are disabled until next month. |
|---|---|
| Business use on the free plan | No commercial-use restriction is stated on Firebase's pricing or Hosting quota pages. |
| Cheapest paid plan | Blaze is pay-as-you-go: after the free amounts, $0.026 per GB stored and $0.15 per GB transferred. Budget alerts notify you but don't cap the bill. |
| From FNJ | Download the HTML, then: firebase deploy. |

Before you move
- The two free transfer figures differ between Firebase's own pages; plan for the stricter one if traffic matters.
- One thing doesn't move: both of FNJ's exports keep Framer's runtime, loaded from Framer's servers, so animations and interactions still come from Framer. Keep the Framer project published. If those files stopped loading, the pages and text would stay but the motion would stop.
FAQ
Is Firebase Hosting free for a Framer site?
On the Spark plan, within its limits: 10 GB of storage and a small daily or monthly transfer allowance. A low-traffic site fits; over the transfer limit the site is disabled until the next month unless you upgrade to Blaze.
Can Firebase run the Next.js export?
Plain Firebase Hosting serves static files. Full Next.js needs Firebase App Hosting, which requires the Blaze plan. For a converted Framer site, the HTML output is the simple fit.
Other places to host it
- Vercel: one click from fnj; not for a business on the free plan.
- Cloudflare Pages: one click from fnj.
- Netlify: drag and drop, or netlify deploy.
- GitHub Pages: commit the files to a repository; not for a business on the free plan.
- Render: static site from a git repository.
- AWS Amplify: drag and drop a .zip.
- Hostinger: upload in file manager or ftp; paid plans only.
