Translator portfolio website
A translator website clients understand in every language
Clients look for a translator by language pair and subject first. FNJ's AI builder designs a translator website that leads with both: your pairs, your specialisms (legal, medical, marketing, literary), credentials and memberships, the tools you use and a clear way to request a quote. Ask for pages in each of your working languages and the builder lays them out side by side.

- Credentials made visible
- Pages in your languages

What a translator website needs
The sections the builder can design for you, and the job each one does. The starter prompt asks for these; add or drop any of them in your own words.

Starter prompt
A prompt written for translators
It opens in the builder ready to edit. Replace the words in brackets with your own details, change anything else you like, then add a reference.
Reference to add
A professional services firm's site with the calm, trustworthy feel you want.
The builder takes a reference's look (layout, type, palette, spacing), never its words or images.
Build a translator website for [your name], a [German > English] translator specialising in [legal and marketing] translation. Open with my language pairs and specialisms in a clear headline and a 'Request a quote' button. Add a services section (translation, editing, transcreation), a specialisms section with typical document types, a credentials section, a 'How it works' section on quotes, deadlines and revisions, and a final call-to-action. Also create the home page in [German]. Precise and trustworthy: a classic serif for headings, a clean sans-serif for body, a calm blue accent and lots of white space.
How it works
01
Describe your translator site
Open the builder with the starter prompt, fill in your details and add a screenshot or link of a site you'd like yours to look like. A reference is required: it's what makes the design yours rather than a template.
02
Watch it design every page
The builder plans the pages, palette and type, then builds each page section by section on a canvas at desktop, tablet and phone widths while you watch.
03
Refine it, then take the code
Ask for changes in plain words or edit by hand, upload your own photos, then download a Next.js project or static HTML, or push it to your GitHub, and host it where you like.
What it costs: From $25/month, or $29 once for 50 credits that never expire. No FNJ hosting fee: you host the exported site. See plans
Translators: questions
- Can my site be in more than one language?
- Yes: ask for pages in each language and the builder creates them, within your plan's page limit. It doesn't add a language switcher automatically or manage hreflang tags; add links between versions, and hreflang in the exported code if you need it.
- Will the AI translate my site for me?
- It can draft pages in another language from your description, but you're the translator: check and edit every line before publishing.
- Can clients upload documents for a quote?
- No. The builder doesn't include forms or file uploads; ask clients to email documents or link to your quoting tool.
- Can I list my certifications?
- Yes, in a credentials section. List only qualifications and memberships you hold.
