Fashion designer portfolio website

A fashion design portfolio that reads like a lookbook

Fashion design portfolios move from idea to garment: research, sketches, fabric, fittings, final looks. FNJ's AI builder lays your collections out in that order, with lookbook pages for each and an about page with your training and press. Describe your collections, attach a fashion site you admire and upload your own images.

Sample site with fictional names, made to show the kind of site the builder designs. Yours is designed from your description and the reference you choose.

The same sample at phone width. The builder designs every page at desktop, tablet and phone widths.

What a fashion designer website needs

The sections the builder can design for you, and the job each one does. The starter prompt asks for these; add or drop any of them in your own words.

Starter prompt

A prompt written for fashion designers

It opens in the builder ready to edit. Replace the words in brackets with your own details, change anything else you like, then add a reference.

Reference to add

A fashion label's or designer's site whose lookbook pages you like.

The builder takes a reference's look (layout, type, palette, spacing), never its words or images.

Build a fashion design portfolio for [your name], a fashion designer [graduating from / working in] [school or city]. Open with a full-height image of a look from my latest collection and my name. Add a 'Collections' section with three collections and a lookbook page for each (concept, moodboard, sketches, fabric swatches, final looks), an about page with my training, experience and press, and a contact section. Minimal and editorial, like a luxury lookbook: an elegant serif, lots of white space and full-height imagery.

How it works

  1. 01

    Describe your fashion designer site

Open the builder with the starter prompt, fill in your details and add a screenshot or link of a site you'd like yours to look like. A reference is required: it's what makes the design yours rather than a template.

  2. 02

    Watch it design every page

The builder plans the pages, palette and type, then builds each page section by section on a canvas at desktop, tablet and phone widths while you watch.

  3. 03

Refine it, then take the code

Ask for changes in plain words or edit by hand, upload your own work, then download a Next.js project or static HTML, or push it to your GitHub, and host it where you like.

What it costs: From $25/month, or $29 once for 50 credits that never expire. No FNJ hosting fee: you host the exported site. See plans

Fashion designers: questions

Can I use this as a fashion student portfolio?
Yes. Ask for graduate collection pages, a CV section and an internships section, and send the link with applications.
Can I show sketches and fabric swatches?
Yes. Upload scans of sketches and swatches; the builder lays them out in grids beside the final looks.
Can I sell my collection on the site?
The builder doesn't include a shop. Link to your store or stockists with buttons.
Can I add a runway video?
Yes, with a video block that plays a video file you host, such as an MP4.
